In Washim District, Police Stations are divided into 3 sub divisions:-

3)    Under the authority of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mangrulpir, the  following 4 police Stations

  • Mangrulpir
  • Asegaon    
  • Ansing    
  • Jaulka

   Washim District is adjacent to Marathwadas and the adjacent / neighbouring cities to Washim are Hingoli, Buldhana, Yavatmal, Amaravati and Akola. Then there is a broad - guage Railway line from Washim to Hydarabad. Washim has a quite big, beat and tidy Railway Station in a quiet area

   Then there is a Narrow - guage Railway line from Paratwad to Yavatmal. It goes to Karanja and Karanja has a Railway Station.

   Washim has the origin of many Rivers like Katepruna, Morna Nirguna and man amongst these, Katepurna is the biggest river and it flows from Washim and merges in Purna river of Akola Penganga is another big river of Washim which has water throughout the year

   The population of Washim dist. Is nearly 10 lakhs and most of its peoples are dependent on farming.
